Got up late today. Yesterday was a killer at work and I feel it in every inch of my body today. It’s brutally cold and it’s not supposed to get above zero until sometime next week. We are in an extreme cold warning until Sunday. I would far rather deal with this than with that monster storm...

Good luck my friend, though it sounds like you’re pretty well prepared. I am used to brutal cold and storms but this one is a monster and it’s blanketing states (some states) with little to no equipment to handle the fallout. The only thing I would be concerned about (not worried, concerned)...

Great report as always, @BassCliff . It takes a while to learn to shoot well with an optic. I still shoot better with irons, IMHO, but I do want to become better with my optics. Consistent practice is the key...look who's talking ;)😎.

Well, I was scared a few times but I didn’t die (there were a few times tho…). When @HayesGreener asked if the snow would “impede” my drive home…I really didn’t think it would do much but kick up a little wind. Let’s just say my life flashed before my eyes a couple of times on the commute...

Candles. Three wick candles, or any for that matter can heat a small room. I lived in a drafty little house in Manitoba in the country and relied on candles to supplement my old oil furnace.

If the wind picks up, yes. I just take the back roads in four wheel drive. Far fewer idiots than on the interstate.

Sitting here in the break room watching the snow come down. I’m guessing that by the time the shift is over Mother Nature will decide that the snow needs to be moved over two counties. 😒

I am winding down for an early night. Back to work tomorrow and 3AM is really rude after four days off 😒. On a positive note, it's a short week and the range is just down the road from work. Handy, eh? 😉😎
