That’s what I thought. My hellcat came with 5 magazines and all have base plates. None of them look like the one pictured. 4 have one style and the 5th has a slightly open style but neither looks like the one that was just in the box. Could it be a spare in case one breaks or cracks somehow? Or...

I’m new to handguns so bare with me. I got this in my box (Hellcat with Viridian green laser) but for the life of me, I can’t figure out what it’s for. It was not attached to anythingand doesn’t seem to fit anything either. Any ideas as to what it is? see photos below
