I picked up a copy of the Odyssey. It is the, "The Odyssey" is a full transcript of the Odyssey hero myth by Samuel Butler in 1900. I figured this version would be less prone to having it rewritten through the eyes of a special interest group, and just be good book.

I am interested in the short one with the rail and cut for an optic. I don't want another full length another one, my SA-35 fits that bill.

I went the opposite route and have an AR an 7.62x39. Except for hunting ammo, not expensive.

I carry my SA-35. I don't see any real advantages for newer guns over it, with the exception of weight. I can put a light on it. I can have it milled for a red dot. I can run high capacity mags, up to 32 rounds.

So I managed to get it to the range. I was shooting Federal 40 grain bulk pack mostly. My first shots were literally just to see what I would need to adjust. Running around 5" low. I fixed it in short order. This was what I wanted before walking it it out to 50 yards. Here's 50 yards...

I scored some .308 TulAmmo at my local hardware store. $14.99 a box. I also purchased a box of .32 ACP PPU Defense Line at my local AFB BX.

This just an option. more than likely my travel gun will be a Sub2K or AR pistol. Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut............. I could carry a bizillion rounds more easily and it would suppress better (quieter).
