Depends on where the belt loop is on the pants. I have cut the first belt loop to my right side off of Lee blue jeans so I can slide fore and aft as needed. i.e. standing vs sitting in an auto. (Right handed shooter).
More times than not my mouth can outrun brain, therein lies the deleted post'. And thank god for the ability to delete a poorly worded post. Easy to say something off color over the internet. I will "be better".
My deleted post are mostly very strong and opinionated views on certain subjects and deleted after a proof read. Would not want to offend a few of the T.A.L. royalty and get tossed.
While this crime appears to be extreme, and it is. There are folks out there sawing heads off of live human beings and broadcasting it on video. Never underestimate the level of evil that exist in today's world. There is a solution and it is not prayer. I am a peaceful, compassionate person but...
Typical 1 hour rated wall has 5/8" drywall both sides of the wall, not sure 1-1/2" on one side with 1/2" on the other has been tested but should have decent burn time. Extra drywall may add to burn time, but I would not call it a safe room. I have been involved in many projects where a home...
Agree with @HayesGreener, get an instructor to watch you shoot a typical range session, get his advise and work on suggested areas. Also suggest having pistol sighted in by a good smith if available. Best to learn to hit the target with a proper zero than to keep adjusting site to our bad habits...
Welcome from N.E.FLA.
Most small format guns have stronger recoil and magazine springs. There is a lot that has to happen in that short slide stroke. The strong springs make sure they happen when your life depends on it.
I would like to see a DLC or TIN finish on their 1911's. The Cerakote finish is garbage. We spend hard earned beans for these guns, a kydex holster as well as an ejected case should not be able to inflict the damage to finish that they are causing. Seams to be thick rattle can crap!
I would not own any S&W produced in the last 10 years. As far as striker fired guns go, if that is your thing, rock on. Modern day mim parts are not an issue on light duty firearms as far as I can tell.
just because the box says 1911 does not make it so.
1911 handguns do not have external extractors.
I do enjoy my SA 1911's, but i just don't get the Cerakote finish. It is nothing more than thick paint. Shows holster wear, dings at ejection port and any other unplanned bump or scrape.
So I would agree with your must haves but add DLC or TIN finish. Even Parkerized would be better than SA's...
