I agree. To have proprietary parts and then not provide replacements is not good. And I have found that the only way to determine whether some parts can be replaced by generic ones is to buy something and try it, IF I can even find something to buy and try! This is the world we're in.

That's correct, exactly what I've experienced. "Mil spec" is a sometime thing. And, some parts of the SA308 are DPMS, some are not.

BTW: nothing difficult is ever easy.

That's an extractor, not an ejector. And I don't think the SA AR bolt is DPMS; a DPMS firing pin will not work in it. Thanks for the effort.

One other thing: I've found that SA parts are not necessarily what other (DPMS, spec, standard, etc) ARs have. I don't know about the ejector; never needed one, for any brand gun, before.

Yep. the ejector took flight when I was reinstalling; found the spring but not the ejector.

I managed to lose the ejector from my AR308 Saint Victor. 1. Anyone know how I can get one? 2. Will a "generic" / standard AR10 308 ejector work in the Saint? Thanks.
