    Bersa Thunder .32

My personal experience with Bersa is Zero. Never owned one. But after I retired I did work in a good friends gun shop for a few years. The Bersa is thumbs up all the way. Taurus guns gave us the most trouble, to the point we didn't carry them new. But Bersa was a dead on reliable choice.

    Family Stories

See, that is perfect. I absolutely love those "slice of life" stories like that. My Black Sheep Brother (a liberal) had the foresight to record my grandparents on VHS. Folks, PLEASE do this for the next generation. It is amazing to have them talk to the future from beyond the grave.

    Bersa Thunder .32

I have a stone ax reliable (first and most important ask of a self defense firearm) Kel Tec P32. It was a cops gun, and I understood it had to go back to the factory under his ownership. All free of course. But man alive, this thing eats everything I can throw at it!

    .380 vs .32 - Make mine .32!

Never heard of the Paul H guy, but have to admit I appreciate his dedication.

    Family Stories

My "weirdo" Uncle Bill was not nearly as much of a part of my life as I wish he was. I remember he had Army Tattoos on one arm and Marine Tattoos on another. Upon his passing, I started to understand. He was one of the Chosin Frozen. The scar above his eye that as children we were forbidden to...

    Surviving an upcoming "Doomsday"

I always thought a small town was the right answer. Community. We all block the roads and deer hunters are in the trees to make sure the city folk get the message. One family can't cover everything. But a small town could band together and keep the roving gangs out. They will leave for softer...

    More Ebay madness

For Sale: The acknowledged master's latest work "Love Lost" a used condom surrounded on a bed of cryogenically frozen tears. $480,268. It would almost be worth using my stash of frozen tears from my enemies which I currently use to season my steaks, just to lure in the liberal art community.

    More Ebay madness

When I grew up, a Fool and His Money were soon parted. Looks like that is still true today. Living in a college town, I speak Liberal. I should get into "art" using all the buzz words and become a sensation. Then use all the money to buy guns and ammo.

    Seven vs Eight-Why it matters!

Started carrying a 1911 in the 80's. That or a wheelgun back then. But I finally got worn down years later by my cop buddies and went to a Glock 19. I hate it. But it works. I am not as accurate as I am with the 1911, but that is splitting hairs. I am faster dropping the falling plate rack with...

    .380 vs .32 - Make mine .32!

I have had a few .380's pass thru the collection over the years. I have won a grand total of THREE Ruger LCP's at Friends of the NRA events, one with a Laser. Kept that one. I also got a Beretta 84 for my Long Suffering Wife. She is not a handgun person. It is pretty with nickel plating and...

    The Colt BOA is back.

OK, so the Old Pythons I understand. Lots of handwork. New Pythons have the look, but are easier to make. Where does the Boa fit in? Will it use the new lockwork, but be hand fitted and polished? That would be interesting.

    .380 vs .32 - Make mine .32!

Exactly Bigfoot. Annihilator I have not done ballistic tests on .380's. But I have been around some tests and Ballistic Gel is a mess and it STINKS. Lucky Gunner is nice enough to provide a lot of info. If you look at the .380, basically the hollow points that open up start to show lessor...

    .380 vs .32 - Make mine .32!

My point is both the .380 and the .32 are marginal rounds. So for me, the extra round offered by the .32 is preferred. Either cartridge should have a bullet designed for penetration. The mushroom shapes make for good advertising copy, but if the bullet mushrooms very much, it does not penetrate...

    .380 vs .32 - Make mine .32!

Sure, I type up headlines to get clicks. I am told that is an interweb thing. Anyway, specifically the .380 Ruger LCP with a six round magazine and one up the pipe for seven all in. Not afraid to say, a 7 round magazine in a .45 acp 1911 is my go to. Seven plus one is plenty for a .45, but what...

Senators Introduce Federal Gun Control Bill Targeting Assault Weapons, Red Flags

Mid terms are going to be critical. If the dems get the house and senate, you know the rest of Mr T's term will be nothing but endless impeachments. Get out and vote, gents. Bring your friends. We fall asleep at the mid terms and we will lose the Country as we know it.

Old timey powders were a significant factor. I would not hesitate to own a Swift today!

    Traded in my car yesterday.

True. Harley guys that used it had leaks on top of their leaks. But when I switched back, problem solved. The "problem" was not the Mobil One, it was the Harley acceptable clearance!

    How long should it take?

I have no idea. I buy all of my lowers from my local gunshop. Do I spend too much? Heck yes, about 20-30 bucks! You know why? Because I go into my local gunshop once a week. I try on guns I will never buy, and talk with friends that are also there. You think that is free? Come on, you cheap...
