    Troubling news.

Yep. He’ll end up paying millions for that (loss of pension/healthcare). Not to mention probably significant jail time to follow. He should be happy the feds prosecuted and not the military (at least that’s how I read the article)…would have been 100% worse. Also concur he deserves...

Meant to use this link (PDW), but I’m also a fan of my Kuna. It’s a blast to fire suppressed...

    50% more in property taxes?

I’ve always felt this would fix a multitude of problems. Right out of the gate it should cut down on lobbying and votes for nothing more than $$ or promises. Might even encourage the writing of legislations that is helpful rather than to stay in office for 60 years…

    50% more in property taxes?

I think it’s to get them from making ridiculous home appraisals from year to year and to make it almost impossible to raise local taxes at all. 2/3 voter approval is a lot, so it would have to be pretty compelling reason(s) on the ballot. Not sure how I feel about restricting local government...

    50% more in property taxes?

Of course the blue cities want your tax dollars for THEIR usages. Not sure I’d want 20% sales tax (isn’t UK VAT still 17% 🤷‍♂️), but 10% wouldn’t kill me - heck been paying .0825 since I’ve lived here. I’m pretty sure a few more percent would still be WAY less than I pay annually in Federal...

Now TEN Missing Nuclear Type Scientists

Ideally it will encourage folks in that line of work to pay a bit more attention to their situational awareness, both for personal safety and what’s going on around their places of work. IMO, pretending nobody is missing or has been killed with that type of background is what doesn’t help...

    50% more in property taxes?

One of the proposed Texas amendments for Nov 2026 elections is a proposal to prohibit counties and towns from raising property taxes. Not to mention our Governor and Lt Governor is on a never ending mission to end property taxes. Not perfect for sure, but it’s nice to live somewhere where...

Now TEN Missing Nuclear Type Scientists

Last time I posted something about this, about a month ago, there were 8 (and I really didn’t title the post well for the topic). I’m wondering how many of those “cells” have gathered and activated that a previous administration invited along with the 10’s of millions over our Southern border...

    Well.... Can you?

Even USAF did this back in 1976, at least with .38s. I don’t recall shooting an M16 left handed ever, but as an LE Specialist I only shot the basic AF qualification course annually with M16. Not sure if the Security Specialists had to try and shoot M16 weak side. The .38, for me, was twice a...

    Voters Never Learn

I’m willing to bet that more than 75% of sitting Senators and House Representatives (without the help of ANY aides) couldn’t pass the civics test I had to take in 1976 to graduate high school…

Don’t think you’ll get hazed (for this position 😀). I think most people who aren’t frightened of guns sees it the same way. I’m still fascinated by threaded barrel (so a suppressor can be added) makes something an “assault” weapon. Threaded barrels mount compensators as well as suppressors...

    Well.... Can you?

I can usually hit a target with a handgun left handed…if it’s not much more than 3-5 yards out 😂. Oh, and that IS with practice, though not as much as 2h shooting, and I freely admit less practice at it than I should. In my left hands defense, I’m much better at 2h than with strong hand...

Kuna Competition? Meet the Taurus RPC 9mm PDW

I’ll stick with my Kuna. Just based on the Rossi 92 Triple Black I picked up last week (made by Taurus - first Taurus I’ve ever owned), it doesn’t seem like this would be a wise investment (FOR ME). The Rossi shoots fine, fit and finish not so fine. Plus I like the moniker of Kuna much better...

    Voters Never Learn

Oh, and in case you missed it, there’s this too (notice there is an “or” between the two definitions, not an “and”… “Virginia defines assault weapons as semiautomatic center-fire rifles or pistols that are equipped with a magazine that holds more than 20 rounds or are designed by the...

This guy is most likely rolling over in his grave… “George Washington was born on February 22, 1732, in Westmoreland County, Virginia, at Popes Creek Plantation (also known as Wakefield). He was born in the Colony of Virginia to Augustine and Mary Ball Washington, and later became a prominent...
