More Changes on the Way at ATF?

Until actual term limits are enacted (maybe 6 years House, 8 years Senate?), Congress will remain dysfunctional in most every endeavor. Most of them worry more about making a lifetime career living off the taxpayers than about what they were actually initially voted in to accomplish. Never...

DOJ Reverses Course On Federal Law Banning Shipping Guns Through The U.S. Postal Service

Personally, I would just like to be able to use FedEx or UPS - but they’re afraid of guns apparently around here - even with a prepaid manufacturers label. Have to use LGS to ship - at a ridiculous price. Be interesting to see what USPS will charge!

What Do We Think of the Hellion in 2026?

Well, back on topic, I made my decision. Hellion it is, and I found a gear up package here locally for what I thought was a reasonable price (and well below MSRP of just the gun). Included a Vertex Crossfire Red Dot, extra 30 round magazine, and sling. I’ll provide a better picture once I get...

First Look: Echelon 4.0FC Hybrid 9mm

In my experience, the slide is never the difficult part to conceal. It is the grip. Agree 100%. I will opt for a compact grip 100% of the time unless it’s not an option on a gun I really want.

    Staccato new release 2026

I get all that, but are you thinking Staccato is going to spend more time to fit the C4X better than the P4 or HD3.6 to justify the much higher consumer cost? I’m thinking they will produce it in quantities like they do all their models.

    Staccato new release 2026

I have a Staccato C that was a good chunk of change. It’s a nice gun, but not really Wilson EDCX9 or other similar guns nice (I’m sure others make guns equivalent to Wilsons X9s, but I’m not aware of them). And adding a barrel comp to any of them is not worth $1,000 “to me”. At $3,499 for the...

    Staccato new release 2026

They have it up on their site (Staccato). HD C4X - looks like cross between HD C3.6 and HD P4, with a barrel compensator making it same size as the HD 4. For just a mere $1k - $1.2k above the price of either of the first two!

Hilton Yam 10-8 performance Master class 1911 is here

Guess this explains why the TRPs have been getting cheaper and cheaper…relatively speaking, of course.

Some Folks Always Think Rules are ONLY for Others 😞

Though dated (the event), there is certainly a lesson in the occurrence. And while on a journey to King’s Cascade, I believe this was a waterfall along the way where their boat stopped? "Cascade Falls" can refer to several places, but if you mean Cascade Falls in Litchfield National Park...

What Do We Think of the Hellion in 2026?

I’ll have to check when I hit range next week. They’re a Springfield dealer, so maybe. Not investing in anything until after SHOT anyways 😃.

What Do We Think of the Hellion in 2026?

Was it malfunctions (if so, what type) or you just didn’t care for the Hellion manual of arms?

Some Folks Always Think Rules are ONLY for Others 😞

As tragic as this is, it seems the initial arrival point was a prophecy… “the 24-year-old found herself in the arid landscapes of Darwin in the Northern Territory.” https://www.themirror.com/news/us-news/model-colorado-eaten-alive-crocodile-1618496.amp

What Do We Think of the Hellion in 2026?

So I’ve wasted (is a day spent ogling rifles actually wasted?) a day reviewing lots of things and I have yet another question. These “pinned” and “welded” barrels that allow a barrel <16 inches to not be NFA controlled, are they reliable? I came across one AR type that had a 14.something...
