Well trijicon says the green lamp sights are warrantied for 12 years from date of manufacture. Do go to trijicon? or Springfield since their name is on the rear sight? Obviously they aren't very bright after 8 (approx) years?

Thanks. Would the sight date be visible while on the gun? Or do they have to be removed. all i see other than the Springfield name is on the front site. it says trijicon then below that F H3 12.
