    Suggestions for red dot sight

This is probably your best option for that pistol. The RailMaster you were looking at requires a Picatinny rail to mount the laser on. The Laser grips are going to be your best and easiest option to install.

    Suggestions for red dot sight

Doesn’t look like that firearm is capable of mounting a red dot. That rear sight is dovetailed. The slide is not milled to mount a red dot sight… Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

    New Sig P365

Well, I said earlier I was interested in the P365 SAS. Never could find one in person and just heard too many conflicting views on the sight to go for it. I wound up buying the P938 Legion. I’ve always wanted a P938 and couldn’t get it right in my head having a P365XL and a P365. Been happy with...

Silencer Saturday #352: Are Silencers (Suppressors) In Common Use Now?

Good call!! Kind of pisses me off every time I hear “Silencers”. I know it’s the legal term, but It still bugs me.

Silencer Saturday #352: Are Silencers (Suppressors) In Common Use Now?

Silencers aren’t silent. Maybe if we started calling them what they are - suppressors - the stigma wouldn’t be attached to them. People think they are movie silent and think that criminals could use them without repercussions. That’s just not true. They’re good for protecting your hearing and...

    Middle Aged 870 Magnum

I have that 870 I got back in the ‘80s. Smooth bore barrel with a threaded choke. I got the combo that came with a bird barrel as well. I got a mount for scope or red dot for it. Remove the receiver pins and replace with pins that come with the mount. Nice rig!!

    New Sig P365

Found one on Ranier Arms for $530. I may have to pull the trigger on it. Since my eyes are so bad close up, I have a hard time getting iron sights in any kind of focus. I love red dots and have one on my P365xl and IWI Masada, but I'm thinking this may be a good way to have something that is...

    New Sig P365

Yeah, that's a little weird, but I've seen people use a coin to turn that screw. Still thinking about it.

    New Sig P365

Might as well ask this question in this thread since it's in regard to the P365. Anyone ever shot or have experience with the SAS sights on one of these? Thinking about getting one, but have seen mixed reviews on how people like the SAS sights.

    New Sig P365

I had the Hellcat for about 3 years. Operated flawlessly. Wound up trading it in and went with the P365XL. Just fit my hand better. More of a rounded grip as opposed to the more squared off grip of the Hellcat. I also shoot much better with the Sig. nothing at all wrong with the Hellcat. Sig...

    Springfield 911 380 feed failure

I have a 911 in .380. Has shot everything I’ve fed it including cheep steel ball ammo. I don’t shoot it all that often, but I can’t remember having any issues with it. I haven’t shot thousands of rounds through it, but I’ve shot more than several hundred. 🤷‍♂️

    ATF hates me

I’m waiting on one certified on 11/27/23, another on 1/16/24 and one on 4/25/24. Pisses me off all these fast approvals.

May look at a suppressor now

My understanding is that they used to do first in first out. It didn’t actually happen that way, but that was the objective. So you could get an immediate “proceed” from the FBI NICS check, but still not get an immediate approval on the NFA item. What they’re doing now is if someone’s NICS check...

Quick Q. what is wet vs dry mean? Suppressor...

How do you like that little thing? :) I came close to getting that, but decided on something else. I don’t have it yet, still in the process.

Quick Q. what is wet vs dry mean? Suppressor...

And BTW, you don’t NEED to shoot it wet, JK just says that it will be quieter when shot wet. Options other than Vaseline are dielectric grease or high temp silicone based brake grease. I’ve found the below to work pretty good on my .22 can.

Quick Q. what is wet vs dry mean? Suppressor...

Running wet isn’t necessarily with water. JK recommends some Vaseline. Here’s a link on their website. Scroll down to the videos. There’s one that they talk about shooting wet. https://jkarmament.com/products/jk-105-ccxtm-9mm/

    Gun rights for illegals?

Good point. I’d like to know how they’re going to get around this? I’m all for limited govt and keeping them from restricting our rights, but this doesn’t make sense to me.
