Weren't we originally talking about how the 1x8 strike eagle would be good for all 3 purposes though?(range, hunt, target)
correct, it's a prism scope. Good for folks with an astigmatism.
Eye relief is the distance between the shooters dominant eye & the ocular lens of the scope. Red dots field of view are always the same unless you add a magnifier or it's magnified itself.
True, roughly 30 pounds will fit in a metal can. I personally own the 30 MTM can & it'll hold well over the stated 15 pounds. Even those cheap plano 30 cans hold 25+ pounds. But to each there own.✌
It's drying up unfortunately. Cost like $40 for a 3 year permit. Still worth it in case we ever get to import the millions of guns just sitting overseas. A man can wish, right?
I collect pocket pistols. And they always get a holster. Never in my pants pocket though. I might throw one in my coat pocket if I'm running to the corner store or mailbox.
Oh, I've pondered...Same can be said about pocket carry too. Yet it's not as big a story. Or shoulder carry, shooting someone behind you. Even @ the 4:00, most AD are while bending over. Again possibly shooting a bystander. All "what ifs". But I hear ya.
