To my knowledge the P9s were all Tanfoglios, which are CZ75 based. SA imported and labeled them 1990-93 until EAA then became the importer and SA stopped. EAA remained the importer for quite a long time with the Witness, Witness Elite, Limited Pro, etc. - a lot of USPSA winning pistols. Now...

I just picked up a P9 in .45. Very nice and clearly a Tanfo (I've had a few). I know they were made between 1990-93 but is there any source on the number made, serials, etc? I wrote to SA but haven't heard back and apparently my google fu is not strong enough. Any help would be appreciated.
