Thanks for the reply. I'm baffled by all my questions, but especially why my top round gets stripped completely off (or almost completely stripped off) the mag when I eject the mag.

Relatively new shooter, just bought a Springfield 911 - 9mm. ZERO rounds through the gun so far. A few questions: • Every time I field strip the gun…every time…the slide stop spring pops out / gets moved out of position. I can always manage to re-seat it and get the slide working again, but...
