This sucks. I got screwed when Harris dropped the magazine. Now again with Athlon. I had three subscriptions going. Two gift subs for family members and one regular for myself.

I don’t know if I asked you, but can you see all of your front sight? I guess it doesn’t really matter as I received my reimbursement check in the mail today. I have actually (re) learned to just rely on my irons. Which have always been excellent!

Cool! I too have always liked Burris stuff. I’ve got 4 FF III sights. Two each, 3 moa and 8 moa. All have been great.

Can you see the front sight completely, when the sights are properly aligned? Do you have a dial/digital caliper? If so, can you measure the depth of the sight slot?

I'm not sure what to think of that. All of mine were bright as the sun...til they weren't! They went from appearing to work completely normally, to not working at all. Well, the third one seemed as if it were going to keep on chugging along. But I couldn't see my front sight.

My first two had 100% visibility of the front sight. That was what the notched dot was all about. They advertised it that way. It is why I wanted the Wasp in the first place. My brother in law bought a Swampfox Sentinal. Just the tip top of the front sight was visible. It sucked!

Whereas you would normally be able to see the front sight fully in the rear sight notch, even though the wasp was mounted in place, now the front sight is only half visible because part of the wasp site is blocking at least half of the front site. The “new” Wasp appears to be taller…
