I get it. Taking an L like that to move on from something that has just been a bad experience is always that last kick in the nads on the way out. Happened to me with my Saint Victor .308 - Which was also my first rifle. Bought 7 or 8 Springfields since then and have had no issues with them...

The general consensus is all the Springfield optics are a big swing and miss. I'd invest in something else. Check backorder planet for sales on the AOS optic plates.

At that price it'd be pretty hard to pass up. Now you can dump all the money you saved into changing out the crap you don't like. CONGRATS!!!
