adjustable rear sight

hi, would like to seek advise on the following. note: I am not into Red Dot yet (later when i am old where cant see the iron anymore). hehe 1. if i change the fix rear sight, will there be a milling works on the plate or slide to fit a adjustable rear site? 2. is there a 3rd party plate that...
