All very good terms on handling a firearm.
There is one I don’t agree with or for me won’t do and that is stick my finger into the chamber to check for a round. I’ve seen the slide close on a finger and it wasn’t pretty. I use a chamber flag.

I agree and I never seen it done either. All I ever seen done was them looking in and showing the instructor.
