10 round magazine for HellCat Pro

PAGunGuy

Master Class
So I am in PA and live very close to NY. Like, less than 30 minute.
I don't go there very often, but, I do on occasion.
I am covered by LEOSA so I can carry there, but am still restricted to their stupid capacity laws.
Decided it was time to get a 10-round mag so I can carry there (legal carry is 7 rounds but they allow 10 round magazines)
Was looking around yesterday. Springfield and Gun Mag Warehouse were about the same. About $30 plus shipping.
Found it on Grab A Gun for $21.50 plus $6 shipping
Hate that I have to deal with that stupid law but glad I got a reasonable price

I live in PA also. Solved it by not going to NY unless absolutely necessary. I spend my money in friendly states. If I have to travel through there I take my Ruger LC9S Pro with 7 shot mags. While passing through there I do separate the gun/mags and lock in separate compartments.

Last time we had almost 20 bikes pulled off at a gas stop at the border, filling up, sepearately stowing our guns/mags for transport, and then traveling straight through, being sure not to stop or spend any money in such a lousy state.

The same with traveling out west going through Illinois. Last stop in Indiana gets our fill ups, lunch and stow the guns until we pass straight through, no stops.

Did you try gunmag warehouse…. sometimes they have sales

Maybe someday. Don't care much for snubbys as they aren't fun to shoot and well, revolvers ain't cheap
i thought the same after i bought a Taurus lite weight .38 special.....dang thing vibrated so much after each shot. (and it was only a .38 special...!!)

i dumped after the first range visit.

but then, i wanted a Ruger 6" GP 100 in .357 magnum, but this was during covid, and the store didn't have any, but they did have the 2.5" revolver.

bought that .357/.38 special, and it IS a smooth shooter, and very comfortable as well.

I would love a good full-size revolver some day. But they are so expensive and not practical to carry

So I am a little disappointed.

After placing the order I got an email of a confirmation of my order.

Orders typically ship in 3 business days. ** Due to high order volume, shipments can take 3 to 7 business days to ship.** Please be patient with us as we ship out your order as quickly as we can.

Once your package ships we will send you a tracking number. To check the status of your order sign into your account.
I placed my order Sunday. As far as I know it still hasn't shipped as I have received no further correspondence. When I log in, all I get is confirmation of what I ordered, nothing related to shipping.

When you are placing and order, you get this

  • Shipping
  1. Non-Firearm Shipping Method
    Economy Shipping
    $6.60Standard Flat (3-5 Business Days)
So I didn't know it would take so long for them to ship it out until the order was placed.
And it says it CAN take 3 to 7 business days, not that it will.

Last item had shipped from an online company it actually got here quicker than it was supposed to. (not firearms related)

Maybe they are high volume right now due to the election?

Not the end of the world as I don't know that I will be going back to NY anytime soon and i have had good luck with them in the past, but, this is a little disappointing.

Oh well, they had the best price, so I guess it's worth the wait

i got that notice on the websites BEFORE i ordered anything, and accepted it.....as that stuff happens.

but to tell you AFTER you placed the order is BS.

i appreciated the "early warning", and still placed many orders with whomever it was.

yes, it "could be" due to the upcoming election, or maybe in some states, by January 1st, 2025, maybe new low capacity magazines laws take effect..????
