Definitely not a glamorous, but dangerous, duty. In a combat situation, after the sniper fires, he becomes the opposing forces #1 target, at times, in enemy territory and outnumbered. Lots of training, patience, and knowledge required for these heroes.

This article is one of the worst depictions I’ve ever seen. The author did a terrible job at showing the reader that there is a significant difference between LAW ENFORCEMENT snipers and USMC combat snipers.
There are so many things in this video and the article that, while very effective in the law enforcement community, would NEVER fly on the battlefield.
