So when he said user serviceable does that mean the end user can take it apart to clean it and do regular maintenance?

Not only that by it looks like the "guts" are "modular" so that you can customize the internals to optimize the unit to maximize it's efficiency for your specific platform, caliber, etc. Pretty cool...
