It’s best to be proficient or at least efficient in any stance. It’s not always going to be possible to effect proper stance. Or even grip for that matter.

One "Clint-ism" that I really like and subscribe wholeheartedly to is: "We train to magnificence so that we can fall to mediocre," with the understanding that, in looking at the known data of OIS, the vast majority are won with rather mediocre shooting.

Good article, although I look forward to the series of articles on this subject I won’t admit to doing what I’m doing as wrong since it is what works for me, now I understand that the article didn’t suggest “yet” that if you don’t use one of the proven stances you’re doing everything wrong however I’ll wait and see.
