Everyone should though. I would not be happy if every time I wanted to run drills I had to take a class.

Pistol is to shoot your way back to the rifle.
If they are under 25 yards its pistol.
How about training in reverse.
Shoot pistol 25 yards and under and then transition to rifle for longer engagements.
If they are under 25 yards its pistol.
