I have a 3A vest that is rated for knives as well. When I bought it I needed it fairly quickly so I jumped in without doing enough research. It's a good enough vest and is concealable, but I wish it had pockets on it for plates. I think I paid about $300 for it so it's affordable. It is hot though. Summer time even worse obviously. I rarely wear it these days as I don't work in the city too much anymore.
