Hello all, here is today's article posted on TheArmoryLife.com. It is titled “Should I Run 45-Degree Sights on My AR?” and can be found at https://www.thearmorylife.com/should-i-run-45-degree-sights-on-my-ar/.
Who said click baitDo you want to?
Then yes, you should.
Do you not want to?
Then you shouldn’t.
These articles are getting silly.
To me the ones who do this need to know how to shoot or they just can't decide and throw it all on! MBUIS don't require batteries or any power supply and an optic can fail. Go for it!
The likelihood something bad will happen to your optic is directly proportional to the amount of effort you put into zeroing it times how badly you need it. There endeth the lesson.I have mine, like a ghost ring sight set up, as an very close-range sight when there isn't time to take the LVPO or ACOG off (using QR mounts) to flip up the BUIS.
When in thick vegetation an optic may not be the best sighting system. The likelihood something bad will happen to your optic is directly proportional to the amount of effort you put into zeroing it times how badly you need it. There endeth the lesson.
What about defensive pronouns and counter strike themThis is kind of an academic discussion for all but SOF troops who could be 10,000 miles from civilization when their stuff breaks. I mean, when your rifle sights are gone, what do you do? Grenades? Bayonet charge? Air Strikes? Cry for Mother? Hurl offensive pronouns?
True that, but then they’re not tacticoolAnother 45 degrees and you have gang banger sights.
