I have dispatched a number of them in my corral traps with my P220 10mm, but not out in the wild or from a stand. 10mm will get the job done. As will .45acp.

I shot a couple hogs with my S&W 629 Classic 44 Rem Mag and one with a T/C Contender in 309 JDJ, similar ballistics to the 308 Win. They are tough!

Yessir. They get th AR in a regular hunting situation an the 10mm in the trap. Never had an AR failure on hogs so have not had to do a transition. I did drop a charging 220 lb sow that I was not expecting with my .45. A great shot to be proud of if I do say so myself, but no witnesses other than my Labrador Retriever and no video.
