Been there, it's very nice. Will never forget that day, or night.
Lived much closer to the Blue Water Bridge back then and my wife had to work a double that day from 8am until 11pm. So I was on my own.
I saw the second plane hit the tower as I was off And then Spent the entire day shell shocked and later at night I went for a ride Just to get out.
Stopped under the bridge and watched the river for a time. Stood leaning against the car and heard a beautiful sound. Coming across the st clair river was the sound of hundreds of Canadian voices singing America the Beautiful. Was a powerful moment, and I was surprised you could hear it so well , the river is a large river. Forgot about all my anti Canadian bias that night.
I also remember looking up that night and thinking that for the first time in my life there were no planes up there.
