Hello all, here is today's article posted on TheArmoryLife.com. It is titled “Renault FT: Origin of the Modern Tank” and can be found at https://www.thearmorylife.com/renault-ft-origin-of-the-modern-tank/.
Hey Mike that WWI French FT-17 tank came to the National WWI Museum in Kansas City by the way of Hayes Otoupalik. Unless he sold it, at one time Mr. Otoupalik had in his possession a fully restored US M1917 that was even equipped with a live-firing 37mm cannon, making it a remarkable WWI item. Somewhere is a film clip from an episode of Locked N' Loaded with R. Lee Ermey driving it. Mr. Otoupalik is truly an icon in the field of military collectables.
