Too Heavy! If I choose to carry a .45 it would be the XDs.

I carried a cut down Colt Commander LW until it wore out. Then it was a Detonics. The Detonics was replaced by a Glock 30 and later a Glock 36. I replaced the Glock with a Springfield Armory XDs.

I missed cocked and locked, but I don't miss the weight.

Very good article on my favorite gun to shoot. I occasionally carry one of my 1911's but majority of the time it is one of my smaller plastic guns.
