1911 Stainless Loaded Sights Gripe

While I agree that the 1911 Loaded is a nice gun for the money, and I don't even mind that they are only available in a CA compliant version, I don't understand why Springfield would go cheap on the sights for the stainless .45cal (PX9151L). I mean, why in the world would they put tritium sights on the parkerized and the green/black versions, but NOT on the stainless. It's not like they're giving you the stainless for the same price as the parkerized and have to cut corners on the sights. Any ideas????

As @Old_Me said, I too can shoot my pistols with any sights, now if I can’t see them to good, I will paint them with white out, mostly just the front sight, or if I want color I will get model car paint or finger nail polish, both work great and is very durable, plus it’s an easy fix

when i first saw a video of someone applying nail polish on a gun's slide, to highlight that name and model, i thought...Hhmm...

imma gonna try that. so i did, with my G-17 and CZ 75B......the ONLY 2 guns i have done that to.

when i got home from wallys-world with a bottle of nail white pearl nail polish, mixed in with some groceries......my wife gave me the "side eye look"....

"honest dear, it's for my gun".....

"oh really"...... she says

"yeah, i saw it on you tube"

"oh, i thought maybe you were *turning* on me"......she says.

"turning on you"...???................"well, now that you mention it".....................

she turns and leaves ME to put all the groceries away.

she has long since seen my "highlighted" guns.........but still gives me the side eye...........

That's hilarious, Old_Me! Anyway, thanks for letting me vent a little. I can shoot with all my gun's sights as well, just thought it was strange that they would leave those sights off the stainless gun and thought the sages here might have some insight. Be as straight as you shoot, buddy!

i think i have an idea of what you say.

i have a few 1911's with fiber optic sights, and some with 3 dots.

stainless steel, blued, 2 tone, makes no difference on make or model.

i "might" have to adjust a sight, so i have the Lyman sight adjusting tool, but otherwise, i personally have no explanation as to the whats, whys of each makers reasoning for choosing the sights they use.
