SureFire Stiletto Pro II Review — Bright Everyday Carry Flashlight

it looks interesting and I'll keep an eye out for it to show up in local shops. this sentence though "I didn’t leave it in a puddle at the top of Mt. Everest." hilarious, there are no puddles at the top of that mountain. <chuckle>

I have had the original 1st Gen Pro since it was released. Now almost 5-years old, it seems to have lost the third/highest lumen setting. Have not reached out to Surefire yet to see if this is just a natural life-span issue, or if something has gone south, but I'd be concerned about the Pro II's lumens diminishing over time. Beyond that, it has been the best EDC flashlight I've owned, and for that reason I'm almost there in buying the Pro II and considering the c/a $340 price the cost of doing business if I can get at least 4-5 years of use out of it. Agree with Mr. Walker in that they could do so much more with the switch gear to make it more intuitive and useable. I agree 100% that having one button start on low, the other on high, and being able to go up and down with one or the other would be very useful.
