Henry Holsters Cipher Review — IWB for the 1911 DS Prodigy

thanks Mike. Looks like a solid choice. I will note though, that you will feel those two screws on your leg if your inner shirt lifts or isn't there. Henry should consider a soft cover for IWB holsters that are hard sided like this.
 
Which screws are you talking about ? Are you referring to appendix carry or strong side carry ? It seems constructed very similarly to most kydex IWB holsters, including all my Muddy River Tacticals. I don't ever feel the screws but you will feel the bottom tip of the holster at times.

note on these two - MFT has a screw head non recessed, the desantis rig has the screw ends recessed. After 4+ hours you will feel them

For strong side carry or crossdraw IWB I very much prefer Crossbreed Mini Tucks. Never in a million years would I use a similar holster to this on a hip. I can't imagine that being comfortable in the slightest.
