.22 Showdown: Ruger MK IV 22/45 VS Glock 44

A more interesting comparison may have been between the G44 vs a Ruger SR22. SR22's are rugged little guns and probably the least ammo finicky .22 LR pistol I've ever owned.

For that matter throw in the M&P22. I had the m&p for a while and it was between the glock44, the sr22 and the m&p. I’ve heard good things about all of them.

I don't hide the face that I am not a Glock fan. I have considered the 44 a few times as a training tool as we carry Glocks for duty.
I have shot one a few times, really don't like the thing. First, it is a little too small for me. Second, it is one of the least accurate guns I have ever shot. Again, I don't like Glocks in general, but this is by far my least favorite.

I still might buy one as a trainer, I figure if I can get good with it, I can shoot anything well.

I had a Ruger SR22 and I really liked that. Was a great gun. Regret selling it. I did sell it and use the money to buy a GSG 1911-22 and I love that thing it is the most accurate 22 I have ever shot
