@SimonRL and I went for the customary friday shoot.
25yrds was the play of the day..

Warm up wasnt too terrible.

Upper right target:
Thought the RDS was set for 10yrds. Aimed low thinking at 25 it will hit higher . and hit 2 rds way low side x side on black line.. 🤬🤬 hmmmm… aimed high.. hit 3 high … 😯😯hmmm.. aimed dead bullesye… hit 5 rounds 1” low. 6” splatter 🕺🕺

Center target: @SimonRL
First couple hit low left off target 🤬🤬
Next couple hit bottom of target🧐🧐
Next couple high right on adjust .. 🤬
Next 10…. Bullseye
5” Splatter

Wrap it up. Time for a beer 😆

These days I shoot slugs with one of my autos. You can shoot them all day long with no problems. When I zero'ed the dot on my KSG25 ( pump gun) it took 11 slugs to dial it in where I wanted it. By the 6th or 7th round I really didn't want to shoot any more.

Thanks for sharing your fun. I'm curious, did you forget at what distance your dot was zeroed? Can you adjust yours on the fly? A click here and a click there? I have yet to venture into optical sights. What are you using? Should I get better with my iron sights before investing in a RDS?

I did some distance shooting (20 yards) at my last range trip, AAR will be up soon. I used no timer, no draw, and did my best with the fundamentals. While my focus has always been self-defense I feel the need to up my game a little with the longer distance marksmanship, as much as these old eyes will allow. ;)

RDS is a Sig Romeo3 Max 6moa

I thought I set it for 10 yards when I first got the pistol. Either that or my old eyes just couldnt see the bull at 25 yards and got lucky 😉😏

I can adjust as you go, but it seems to be hitting just fine at 10-15 yards
