I have seen lots of comparisons of the .300 blackout vs 5.56. I don't think that's an apple to apple comparison. Better to compare the .300 blackout to the 7.62x39 in my opinion. I would choose the 7.62x39, but everyone has a reason for their choice and will differ from mine. Here is a comparison of both comparable rounds. Hope it brings some clarity to some questions people might have on either round. Either way, I think it's a good discussion.
