Hello all, here is today's article posted on TheArmoryLife.com. It is titled A Folding Stock M1A? The Delta 14 Chassis and can be found at https://www.thearmorylife.com/a-folding-stock-m1a-the-delta-14-chassis/.
Keystone, good to hear from you. You use all your original M1A parts other than the stock. You clamp in the barreled action and your trigger group to fit into the chassis. That is a sweet setup, correct me if I’m wrong but your putting an M1A action into this chassis? Does the chassis have its own trigger assembly or are you using the trigger that comes with your M1A?
Also not a big fan of folding stocks but that one looks a lot cleaner not having to worry about a Folding buffer spring assembly and all that goes with it.
Very nice, Thanks Mike!!Keystone, good to hear from you. You use all your original M1A parts other than the stock. You clamp in the barreled action and your trigger group to fit into the chassis.
I got to handle this one myself, and it is really cool! Might have to pick one up for myselfVery nice, Thanks Mike!!
Jimmie, do you have a Springfield Armory M1A? If so, this system should fit it. If you have specific questions, I'd click on the link to the Delta 14 site at the bottom of the article and reach out to them. They should be able to make sure you get just the right system for your rifle.I have a M 14 A 1 will this stock fit it?
Thats really cool !!
I wonder how the chassis weight compares too the SA loaded stock or the SOCOM and Tanker wood stocks?
