Hey Mike, what about sheriff Walt Longmire?
But, come to think of it there was a glaring error in his handling of his 1911 in one episode - he was walking into a house that had an active alarm and he reached down to his holstered 1911 and cocked the hammer back! My reaction was - Holy crap! He's carrying holstered with a round chambered and the hammer down?!?!?! So, maybe its a good thing you didn't mention him in the article...
Very, very much amazing thread! Thank you very much!Hello all, here is today's article posted on TheArmoryLife.com. It is titled Hollywood, the 1911 & Its Stunt Double and can be found at https://www.thearmorylife.com/hollywood-the-1911-its-stunt-double/.
Buds Gun shop or Midway USA maybe a good starting point.I have been looking for a Range Officer both finishes. Mostly sold out everywhere, any idea where to check?
Gunbroker is legit. I don't do any auctions though. Find items with buy it now and look at their seller ratings. Most of those guys will deal on the side too if you message them. Thanks for replying, I did see one used on there up for bids. Never dealt with GunBroker. Always felt a little insecure with the concept. Anyways, worked good for you. Thanks again.
