The Prodigy already has an aluminum frame.

The grip module is polymer, but there are aluminum aftermarket options.

The 3.5" and 4.25" Newly released compact models have Billet Aluminum frames but no port/comp barrel.
The standard and comped barreled models have forged steel frame.
I would bet that a compact model with aluminum frame and ported/comped barrel is in the works.
If I had to guess I would say it will be released the day after you buy something else.

suppose I could just buy one of the alum framed and one comp, swap slides and sell the all steel version
