All shooters, no matter their gender, can benefit by the advice in the article regardless where the article is originally listed for. And I'm sure the female shooters on this site might find it useful.

Those are some good pointers.

For a long time my long range marksmanship was pretty bad and I struggled trying to improve. Then I watched one of John Lovel's video on youtube. He was doing some training with Ryan Cleckner. A former military sniper. So I bought his book and I learned a lot. I took to the range and I have been able to hit dead center on my targets at 800 yards(longest range I could find). However I still need more practice and training.

I would also like to point out. Not all scopes are created equal. Scopes are like EDC holsters. Don't get a cheap one. Get a good solid quality scope that can handle higher pressure cartridges. Putting a Cabela's 5-10x scope on a .338 mag won't hold up to the task. It'll probably wind up breaking from the massive amount of vibration and force.
I put a cheap red dot and magnifier on my Stag-10 once. Both broke on the same day. Just couldn't handle the power of a 172grn 308.

Also learn the differences between Second Focal Point and First Focal Point scopes. Adjusting parallax and target focus is another skill required for long range.
