Nice. My first deer rifle was a .270 at 12 yrs old. A big fan of the .270, the trajectory and the performance. I’ve got a .338WM. 6.5 in the hunting world and not just elk alone is awesome. Some excellent stories on that. Thanks for posting this article.

I'm partial to the 45-70 myself.
