I have an astigmatism in my right eye and I’m right eye dominant, luckily when using my scope I can adjust it to help correct it. I also have and use prescription safety glasses. I’m very comfortable keeping both eyes open while shooting.

Aside from being old I am also red-green colorblind.
I use whiteout on my old revolvers front sights and I changed all my Springfield's front sights from red to green.

Color blind here also, and I changed the front sights on mine from red to green too. World of difference.
