Thanks anni good read the closets I got to one is a ruger superblackhawk in a 44 mag it was a mini cannon I think my next revolver will be a model 586 in a 6 inch

50th Anniversary? Of WHAT? 50 years would be 1973. IIRC the M29 appeared in 1955 or 56. Dirty Harry came out in 1971.

I thought so too, but couldn't find any "originally published" date on it.
