Purchased one on black friday. Can't find extra batteries on the olight sight. I read the battery is proprietary and you have to use the olight brand because of the special connections at the ends of the battery. Was thinking about buying the Panasonic 18500a 2040 mah but don't know if it will work. Will an 18650 work? Want to buy extra batteries, any suggestions.

I use an Olight Baldr Mini (tac light with green laser) on my Hellcat. SUPER-bright, decent laser (not the best in daylight, but that's what irons are for)...and rechargeable. USB cord with a magnetic puck, it charges anytime its in my safe. Very happy with it.
