I appreciate you putting these threads up. Hopefully, new nimrods will use articles like this as a beginning of learning what they need to know as these articles are often too short and lack depth. I long for the days when knowledgeable writers could write and get published articles that went into depth on subjects.

I cannot even begin to relate how many people I have watched at the rifle range who struggle to mount and sight in scopes and even red dots and usually spend hours and lots of ammo or settle for "close enough" out of frustration. I have only seen three people besides myself using levels when mounting scopes in the last two years.

It seems that far too many people today are satisfied with easy answers rather than correct solutions with everything and guns and gun knowledge are just part of the larger problem. 😣
