6 year old suspended for finger gun..???

Times change. I was in junior high in 1957. Science teacher had a cabinet in the classroom with six .22 rifles. With a note from parents, you could take one home for the weekend but not on the school bus. He would also sell you .22 Standard Velocity .22s for 50 cents a box.

In high school, every kid in Vocational Ag classes carried a pocket knife and were dinged by the teacher if we didn't have one.

No one got shot or cut.

Back then parents were actually being parents and disciplining their kids. Parents and their kids had values. Now parents are encouraging their kids to go to school dressed like llamas and identify as animals or one of supposed another 12 genders.

The disciplinary code differs from school to school, a parent that complains about how these nitwits run the school and they’re the one who will have to answer to a higher government
authority.

More often than not, the most violent kids are not suspended but treated as victims. The six year old who shot the teacher in Virginia comes to mind as one of those pass-the-buck, hands off school sensitivity issues that became a tragic fail.

But here’s another example of silly school violence interpretations from from 10 yrs ago….

Agreed. We are living in a world where you can go to jail if your children are not raised feral.

Yes. There’s a reason why they teach Civil Disobedience in public schools now. Reaches beyond the old standard of parental guidance and manners besides the coming of age rebellious attitudes.
Re-education is part of the Marxist movement and indoctrinated subservience.
Some rotten kids aren’t just born that way.

I'm 52 I clearly remember in school out for recess the teachers would be smoking while they watched us. A teacher would lose their job today if they did that. Plus we had monkey bars, teeter toters and the good old rusty swings. Least once a week someone would be going to see the nurse. Mercurachrome or bactine and a band aid then back to class. Plus the fights. 9 out of 10 times win or lose we shook hands and either stayed away from each other or then became friends no suspensions or crap. We also if we were fortunate enough to have a car or truck in high school we'd have our rifles clearly visible in a rack in the pickup. Everyone knew about them even the teachers and principal and all they'd say is be careful. Although heaven forbid if we ever, ever mouthed off to a teacher or even an adult for that matter and last but not least never ever mouth off at a Police Officer. We didn't get put in time out we got a good old fashioned beating. Man how times have changed for the worse. Just my two cents...
