I had one of the TRP Operators some years ago, while it was a great gun, my new RO Operator in my opinion is just as great, I never had a bad Springfield 1911, as I have owned many over the years.

I have the TRP Operator. Very impressive side arm. Teamed up with Wilson Combat mags you can’t go wrong.

Good article, but the title confuses me. What kind of shooter only wants one 1911? I can understand only being able to afford one 1911, or only carrying one 1911, but there are multiple 1911's that I want.

I'm leaning toward the Ronin Operator for my first 1911. It may not have a feature list as long as the TRP, but by all accounts it is a straight shooter and very reliable. That said, the TRP is definitely is enticing as well!

For an all too brief of a time I owned a TRP 10mm 6". I don't think I put more than 200 rnds through it before I sold it to fund a CMMG BANSHEE 10mm.
It never failed me. I just wanted that BANSHEE and it was 1st on the chopping block.
