That's a good tutorial on cleaning. I have an XDG-45 tactical and I have to pull the trigger to get the slide to release. It also doesn't have a captured recoil spring but even so field stripping is easy.

As sparsely as the guy recommends lubing all the steel, I was surprised he recommended lubing the RSA. With the exception of dry lube I wouldn’t put any oil/lubricant on the RSA. For the same reason you don’t oil magazine springs or strikers.
