7 trigger control errors and how to fix them

Great article. I was familiar with most of the errors, but had never heard of "heeling". I shoot high with some of my handguns, and will have to check myself to see if this is one of the causes.

I know deep down that I need to focus more on one firearm at a time to perfect my shooting, Unfortunately, I appear to suffer from ADD when it comes to guns, and love to switch between completely different types of pistols when I go to the range. I have a suspicion that a grip that works great for my Glock and XD's may cause issues when I switch to some of my revolvers. I probably make this worse by putting a few mags through a mouse gun at the end of a range session. On the bright side, this gives me an excuse to keep practicing.

Thanks for the link, Talyn. Good article. I think we all know what we want to do, but a lot of times, at least for me(!), that is not what I do! I am often embarrassed when I look at my targets!

I do the same , I can't remember the time that I took less than 6 different pistols at a shooting session
I just do a lot of different loads in different pistols and chronograph and the bench rest --WHEW
I have learned to shoot what ever I'm carrying the last one of the day

I used to bring several pistols...but now, I usually only bring a couple, at most...inless it's just a fun day with friends.
Good advice Hans! I used to think that more was better but now limit myself to the 1 or 2 that I'm not shooting as well as I'd like. The result is evident the next time I shoot those pistols.
