I found I was able to hit steel at 200 yards with my pistol by looking under my grip/hand and basically having the target show up under my hand as a sight picture. Works in my particilar case . I was only 1-5 shots accurate though.
Enjoyed your video almost as much as I enjoy shooting my XD-M 9! My 9mm feels great in my hands and has never let me down on the range. Never a misfire and the accuracy never lets me down. Wish I could use my firearms in a backyard like yours, but not happening in the Socialist State of NJ
I have the same Elite Precision model, but I think I would be hard pressed to hit anything at 200 yards. The longest distance I have ever practiced is at 100 yards.
I’ve been able to put 3/8 in the chest of a silhouette with a 1911 at 200 by, basically, putting the base of the front sight even with the top of the rear sight.
Drew and Mike, Thanks for good XDM article/video review.
The SA's XDM 5.25" 9mm fit like 2nd skin to hands as is out of box, has adjustable/replaceable rear straps too if doesn't. Has good balance. Nice shooter even at long distances. XDM Elite's 22 round mag's fit and work well in XDM's too.
