I came late to Iron Maiden...Powerslave was my intro to them, and I still listen to it regularly...

He slaps as well as anyone! Few have that harmonic twang he gets from beating strings the way has always done...now that I look at your screen name, it comes together a little! We could probably have an interesting exchange about good bass players...

His galloping fingerstyle, evidenced in songs like "Run To The Hills" is legendary. A lot of people, back before there was YouTube videos and such, thought he used 3 fingers. I even practiced until I had a passable 3 finger technique. We were wrong, Steve is a 2 finger player. Lots of bass players can be copied passably by pick players. Steve Harris isn't one of them. Neither is Geddy. If you can't play fingerstyle you should definitely avoid covering Rush or Iron Maiden. Not that I can really do either of them justice, but the punters seemed to dig it anyway.

When discussing bassists, how can we leave out Flea? Certainly not metal, but you have to acknowledge that he is a pleasure to listen to (and watch). When Les Claypool played with Buckethead years ago (or should I say Buckethead played with Primus for a spell), it was a wall of intricate sounds for sure. And we all loved Cliff, but when he died at 24...who knows how good he COULD have been...I don't play...I just had a roommate in college who played (and plays) guitar. I was around it a lot, and he is now an executive by day, plays metal covers by night up in the twin cities...only senior VP with long hair and sleeves I've ever seen.

Good read on some 9mm revolvers, never had one, been thinking of it.

If I'm carrying a 9mm it ain't gonna be a wheel gun. I would be carrying something like a hellcat with an 11 round magazine or a Taurus G3c with a 12 round magazine. What I like about the Taurus is you can get a 17 round magazine for it and it only adds 3 quarters of an inch to the overall height and with 115 gr ammo it's only 3 ounces heavier. That's a lot of firepower in a small pistol.
I'm not against owning a 9mm wheel gun, but you won't see me using one as an everyday carry.

Yep. If I'm carrying a 9 it'll be the VP9.

This article also shows the wide range of prices for a wheel gun or any gun. The Taurus is a quality reliable shooter while the Korth is more like a dynamic shooting piece of artwork. This would also apply to automatics, with Wilson Combat or other custom guns vs lower end models. Doesn't mean lower end gun is less deadly or less of a good option, just a comparison of different pieces. Like comparing Eric Clapton or Duane Allman to James Hetfield or Randy Rhodes. Different styles doesn't make one less then the other just different.
