Hello all, here is today's article posted on TheArmoryLife.com. It is titled "Hide That Suppressor! Midwest Industries SP Handguard" and can be found at https://www.thearmorylife.com/hide-that-suppressor-midwest-industries-sp-handguard/.
That handguard should be plenty of room for the dimensions that you stated just keep in mind if your using a pistol length AR and if you're hand is directly over the surface of the handguard that is covering the suppressor it can get unbearably hot due to the proximity of the suppressors surface to the exterior of the handguard. What size suppressor is that? I’m looking at this Midwest SP to go on my Saint Victor 300BLK. I went the budget route and bought a Witt Dirty 30 can, it’s still in NFA jail but I’m hoping it will be released soon. My suppressor is 1 5/8 inch or 1.625. The MI website says the SP handguard has an inside ID of 1.72, so I hope it works.
