Shoot more pigs!!!!!!!!Nice to know my M1A will perform. I didnt doubt it though.
Maybe when I’m 90 yrs old, I’ll have 15k rounds thru mine
Mines in .308 that way I can shoot .308 or 7.62 natoNice to know! I have the synthetic stock but I sure wish I had one of those in Walnut (just for tradition). My M1A is in 6.5 Creedmoor. Those bullets look like they are 308. Is that correct?

Next time get a loaded it’s only a 100$ more, I made the mistake of getting a standard, the standard was ruff as hell even had burrs in the chamber and would scratch my brass ends, I sold it to get a b&t than bought a loaded m1a holy cow night and day they really take care of the guns that custom the standard is going to be way out of specI bought a new M1a std model black approx 3 months ago, I fired 100 rnds and the semi auto action stopped functioning. I noticed that the gas cylinder had worked it’s way or slid forward on the barrel toward the muzzle and blocked off the gas port in the barrel. This appears to be pressed on. I had a Springfield armory bipod attached to the gas cylinder which is where it is supposed to be attached. I shipped it back to Springfield Armory for warranty repair. I’m just wondering if anyone has heard of this happening?
That's what caused the FTE with my Scout.ruff as hell even had burrs in the chamber and would scratch my brass ends
